About FOMRThe Friends of the Muddy River was founded in 1980 by Isabella M. Callanan (1928-2008) along with a handful of Boston and Brookline citizens concerned with the environment and quality of the Muddy River and its surrounding parkland. We are committed to the maintenance, restoration and preservation of this valuable urban green space and fine example of Frederick Law Olmsted’s vision and skill as a landscape architect. |
